The Florian Insurance Agency was founded in 1907, and has proudly been serving Northwest Ohio for over 100 years with five generations of dedicated service. We are independently owned, and work through several companies to give our customers the satisfaction they deserve.

History
1907 Edward A. Florian, a bank officer at the Corn City Savings Loan Association, decided to become an insurance agent selling home and commercial insurance. He formed The Edward A. Florian Insurance Company which was operated from the Corn City Savings Bank Building
Edward A. Florian's 1909 Insurance Liscense
1920 Son, Carl J. Florian, joined the agency and they changed the name to read Edward A. Florian and Son.
1924 Membership Certificate to the Toledo Association of Insurance Agents
1926 Frank Laux joined the Agency and the name was changed to The Florian-Laux Insurance Company and moved downtown Toledo into the Gardner building.
1947 John F. Florian, "Jack," joined the agency
1966 Frank Laux left the agency and the name was changed to The Florian Insurance Agency, Inc.
1973 Gary J. Florian joined the Agency.
1981 Thomas A. Florian joined the Agency.
1984 The agency moved to Southwyck Blvd., Toledo, Ohio.
1993 Carl J. Florian retired and Thomas Florian became President with Gary Florian as Vice- President.
2007 The Florian Insurance Agency celebrated it's 100th anniversary and the joining of their fifth generation, Erica M. Florian.
